The Savannah Master Calendar Partners recently hosted the Stuff-A-Trolley Toy Drive to benefit Blessings in a Book Bag. From the end of November through mid-December, new, unwrapped toy donations were accepted at various local businesses. Thank you to everyone who donated!
On Friday, December 13, the SMC Partners and friends boarded an Old Town Trolley Tours® of Savannah trolley to collect toys from the drop-off locations to deliver to Blessings in a Book Bag. We were joined along the way by carolers from the Savannah VOICE Festival, enjoyed cookies from Wicked Cakes, and concluded our trolley tour at the all-new Broughton Common with festive holiday snacks and drinks. This toy drive concludes a truly remarkable year of collaboration between SMC and our business partners: through the monthly SMC Gives networking series, over $10,500 was raised for various local nonprofit organizations. A sincere thank you to featured partner Creative Approach as well as Allstate Insurance Agent David Pence, Bay Street Realty Agent Courtney Ganem, Hustle and Blow Dry Bar, Old Town Trolley Tours® of Savannah, Picker Joe’s Antique Mall, Profile by Sanford, and Savannah Termite and Pest Control for sponsoring the 2019 SMC Gives series as well as our free calendar and newsletter. We couldn’t do what we do without their generous support and commitment to our community.
Happy holidays, everyone! We’ll see you in the new year!
