A drama about the city’s greatest trailblazer: First Black nurse in American history, first teacher of freed African-American children, author of the only Civil War Memoir written by a Black woman, and the first woman and first person of color to have a Savannah square named for her. Admission is $29.

Mark your calendars, Savannah! The 4th Annual Savannah Black Art Expo will kick off on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 12:00-4:00pm!

This event will feature arts vendors, performances by local talent, delicious food trucks and concessions vendors, fun workshops, and more. New this year: a collage workshop with artist Nancey Price, a Hip Hop dance workshop with choreographer Christian Cooper, and as a special event for kids – a children’s book reading with author Nina Rickenbacker Edwards, Ed.D. Plus, the first 100 attendees will receive a free Savannah Black Art Expo branded tote bag!

Free and open to the public. Arts workshops are free with day-of sign-up required. Visual arts vendors set their own prices and payment methods, and receive 100% of all proceeds. All ages welcome.

Join the SCAD Museum of Art to celebrate culture-shaping visionaries at the opening party for SCAD deFINE ART 2026. Connect with this year’s honoree, boundary-breaking artist and performer Laurie Anderson, and many of the featured artists as the museum debuts a new season of exhibitions by Laurie Anderson, Farah Al Qasimi, Mona Bozorgi, Eva Jospin, Anish Kapoor, and Max Lamb. Explore their impactful works in the galleries and join a live-action drawing challenge in the museum’s Alex Townsend Memorial Courtyard, followed by a performance by interdisciplinary artist Ezra Masch.

Savannah’s only community run art food festival celebrating a youth-led public planting project along the Truman Linear Trail, with camellias in peak bloom.
The Savannah Camellia Festival & Community Run invites runners, walkers, families, and neighbors to enjoy thousands of youth-planted camellias along the Truman Linear Trail, followed by a free, open-door festival at Cohen’s Retreat with food, art, kids activities, and short demonstrations. The event includes a 5K run and a 1–2 mile community walk.

As daughter of Lady Pamela Hicks and famed interior designer, David Hicks, India’s style blends her aristocratic British roots with a relaxed island lifestyle.
Presented by the The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Georgia, a 501C3 charitable organization, this event supports the ongoing preservation of two of the City’s prominent historic houses, the Andrew Low House Museum and The Green-Meldrim House.

Join us on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m for our second annual Chefs Farmers: A Culinary Experience event at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, located at 41 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. All proceeds will support Forsyth Farmers’ Market programs benefiting area farmers as well as the local community.

The Savannah Boat Show will launch this year with an expanded footprint along the Savannah River waterfront showcasing indoor exhibits at the Savannah Convention Center and boat displays on the water for the first time at the newly opened IGY Savannah Harbor Marina. Attendees of the boat show on March 13-15 can explore dry land exhibits and a stunning in-water boat display at the inner basin and new superyacht docks. In addition to showcasing the latest inventory for those seeking to purchase a boat, there will be plenty of family-friendly activities, live music, and food trucks.
