Continuing to Expand Community Spirit with the 2nd Annual Holiday Event

The Town of Thunderbolt announces the return of Christmas on the Bluff for its second year, spearheaded by Mayor Dana Williams and Town Council. Commencing at 4 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, the event promises an array of festivities, including live entertainment, cookie and ornament decorating, a vendor village, touch-a-truck, photos with Santa, a tacky Christmas sweater contest, the best-dressed pet contest, food trucks, and more.

Mayor Williams, along with town council members and administration, have been successful in bringing back several important festivals to Thunderbolt. “The heart of Thunderbolt beats strongest when we come together in shared moments. Our administration is committed to reviving our community events to find unity, happiness, and the spirit that defines us.”

Christmas on the Bluff is both a time of joy and community bonding, as well as serving a noble cause; this year, the event will benefit Brightside Child & Family Advocacy-Savannah CASA, underscoring Thunderbolt's commitment to giving back to the community. CASA volunteers will be onsite helping with the event and accepting donations for the local nonprofit.
