Sips at the Station Partners with Savannah To-Go Cup for St. Patrick's Day Design Launch

Sips at the Station Celebrates Coastal Pet Rescue and Launches New To-Go Cup

Partners of Savannah’s popular networking series, Sips at the Station, announce their February fundraising event will include the official launch of the newest sustainable Savannah To-Go Cup; a design commemorating the 200th Savannah St. Patrick’s Day parade. The media and Savannah community are invited to join Tuesday, February 20th from 5:30-7pm at Ardsley Station.

Hosted by Simply Savannah Marketing, Savannah Master Calendar and Ardsley Station, Tuesday’s Sips at the Station will benefit Coastal Pet Rescue, a non-profit dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected dogs and cats in Savannah and surrounding areas. Attendees are asked to contribute a $10 donation. Admission includes a complimentary beverage from Ardsley Station’s special bar menu, an assortment of unique, off-menu, hors d-oeuvres, and live entertainment. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase, and 100% of proceeds from admission and raffle sales go to Coastal Pet Rescue.

In addition, February’s event will double as the official release of the third Savannah To-Go Cup, designed by local artist Margaret Mulligan. Spearheaded by the Savannah Downtown Business Association, this popular sustainable initiative is the first of its kind in the country and is dedicated to working with local Savannah businesses, artists, and community members by offering a zero-waste aluminum cup that is reusable, collectible, and made from 100% recycled materials. The cups are available for bulk purchase from the SDBA for resale to the general public.

To pre-register and skip the line, tickets are available for purchase through Eventbrite. Additional event information can be found on the event Facebook page. The launch announcement will occur at 6pm, typical event flow will then resume with Coastal Pet Rescue and the raffle drawing to take place around 6:40. Ardsley Station is located at 102 East Victory Drive and offers a spacious covered patio, as well as ample parking. Networking begins at 5:30, all are invited!
