Learn the story of our culture as the stage show chronologically brings the story to life with enactments, testimonials, songs, and much more. The stage show includes Savannah State University’s concert and Wesleyan Choirs, Hit Man Blues Band, Candice Glover, American Idol winner, and much more. We feature Savannah State University because of the direct impact of this institution on Geechee Gullah culture. The vendors offer authentic Gullah Geechee cuisine, apparel, quilts, baskets, and much more. Savannah Indivisible, with support from the ACLU of Georgia, is hosting No Kings at Emmet Park on E. Bay Street. A rally will begin at 1 pm, followed by a peaceful march in downtown Savannah. Bring your signs and your voices. No Kings is a nonviolent national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration. At No Kings, we will demonstrate organized nonviolent people power that outpaces any authoritarian aspirations. History is clear: people-led movements — not force, not one politician — are how we end attacks on our rights and attempts at authoritarianism. Our movement is trained in de-escalation to ensure powerful, disciplined, and lawful local actions. When communities stand together in non-violent action, fear loses its power.

Big Chick Energy stand-up comedy show returns to Front Porch Improv Theater this Women’s History Month! We are excited to bring some of Savannah’s Funniest women to the best stage in Savannah! Join us for a wild night of laughter you wont forget! Lets Go Girls!!!

Day of Clay is back! Join us on Monday, March 30th from 1-4pm for an afternoon of fun activities in clay on the lawn of the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center.

This annual event is our way of celebrating the art of ceramics. Whether you are a seasoned ceramicist or just looking for a fun event to attend, we invite you to stop by and spend the afternoon with us! This year will feature stations in sculpting, pottery wheels, family activities, Raku firing demonstrations, and more.

All experience levels and ages are welcome to attend this event. Parents/guardians must accompany children ages 14 and under at all times. Come by any time between 1 and 4pm, no pre-registration required.

The Garden Club of Savannah invites you to explore hidden gardens in historic residential Savannah, North of Gaston Street (NOGS)

Savannah Stopover Music Festival and Eastern Wharf are teaming up for a monthly concert series on the riverfront with free performances by top bands at the Park at Eastern Wharf!

The next concert will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 7-10 p.m. and feature rock band Same As It Ever Was.

Known as the ultimate Talking Heads tribute band, Same As It Ever Was is a seven-piece group that performs impressive covers of the group’s iconic songs, including “Burning Down The House,” “Psycho Killer” and “Take Me to the River.” This talented band from Knoxville, Tenn., is known for delivering high-energy performances that respect the integrity of Talking Heads’ groundbreaking music while bringing their own style and infectious spirit to cuts from the band’s signature “77,” “Stop Making Sense” and “Naked” albums.

Local food trucks will be on-site. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase to go from bar by fleeting at Thompson Savannah.

While the show is free and open to the public, VIP tickets are available for $76.19 on Eventbrite. VIP tickets include prime riverfront concert viewing and first come-first served seating, complimentary snacks, beer and wine.
