The Places We Carry explores how places become part of us through color, landscape, memory, and story. Bringing together New Zealand: Back to Life, the Savannah Cartography Series, and Sevilla Soul: Streets and Stories, the exhibition transforms maps into visual narratives of discovery, home, and connection. From the landscapes that inspired a return to art, to the waterways, communities, and histories of coastal Georgia, to a mother and daughter’s memories of Sevilla, each work explores how the places we visit—and the people we experience them with—can stay with us long after we leave.
