Pretty Darn’s third studio album, “Rejuvenate”, is set to be released July 27th, 2024. It was recorded in May of 2023 at Out There Studios in Marshall, NC. Luke Mitchell, the studio’s owner and frontman for longtime Charleston rock group, The High Divers, engineered for the band and helped contribute to the raw and natural tones of the record. The writing and arrangements of the eight songs were a true team effort from Nick Poulin, Kyle Wareham, Matt Robbins, and Jared Templeton. Roughly a year after their first show together, Pretty Darn released a self-titled debut album in April of 2017. From Hilton Head, SC, the duo covers a range of genres (Pop, Folk, Reggae) while balancing two lead vocals from singers and multi-instrumentalists Kyle Wareham & Nick Poulin. The eight song follow-up album “Brothers” came soon after in 2018, and the group has since released a collection of live acoustic performances and their latest single, “Casual”. Along the way, Matt Robbins and Nate Douglas have filled the band out on bass guitar and drums. (this is a standing event)

Old Willy Shakespeare got drunk one night, wrote a play, and upon waking up the next morning, shocked at what he had written, hid it away so that it would never be seen again… until now.
Using your audience suggestion and our overactive imaginations, we create a brand new Shakespeare play live on stage! Complete with live music, songs, improvised Elizabethan language, and plenty of laughs, the cast will weave together the themes, characters and language of Shakespeare to create an unforgettable evening that the Bard himself would have been proud to pen (…probably).
PLUS…. Experience the beloved Savannah tradition of live improv comedy during FUN HOUSE! Bring your ideas to shout out as the talented cast will skillfully turn them into hilarious, unscripted scenes and improvised songs. Audience participation is completely optional. This award-winning cast is sure to keep you laughing throughout the show.

This group is hosted by Carmen and focuses on Yogic style meditation. All participants have the option of a chair or a mat and bolster to sit on, but feel free to bring a zafu/zabutan if you have one you like to use!
All spiritual practice, across all religions, starts with some form of meditation! Meditation is simply the practice of stilling and focusing the mind on a single point to gain insight, deeper awareness, and the ability to work with the subtle energetic world.
Some benefits of meditation:
Anxiety and stress reduction
Inner peace
Heightened spiritual senses
Improved manifestation
Self-awareness
More easeful day-to-day living
Each session begins with a group discussion and q&a with an experienced meditation teacher. We will then have 10-20 minutes of practice together. All levels are encouraged to come, and chairs will be available. Some classes may begin with gentle stretching and may incorporate gentle movement, depending on what the group would like to do that day! Please wear comfortable clothing.

Catch the 4K restoration of director Mike Nichol’s Oscar-winning masterpiece that seduces audiences with its crackling wit, depth of emotion, and Simon & Garfunkel’s moody grandeur. The story of an aimless young man (Dustin Hoffman) adrift in a relationship with the older Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft), the impeccably-acted, visually-defiant, cleverly-scripted, musically-driven film perfectly captured the zeitgeist of a generation like no film before, or after. Presented by Tybee Arts Association
Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a riotous ride!
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the teens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake.
Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
VIP TABLES
– 2 seats per VIP table (sold separately)

Next Saturday, we’re rolling out a brand new tour. If you’ve followed us for a while, you know our first run at a tour is half-price. We’re going to do something a bit different this time – All proceeds will go to Brandon’s late father’s favorite charity: Children Exceeding Expectations. This is a free school for kids with cancer and life-threatening diseases. The last trip dad and I took was to a fundraiser he hosted for this group. He donated rare bourbons that were auctioned with every cent going to this group. We’ll do the same next week.
Now moving on from the sappy part, the new tour! What is it? Believe it or not, this one isn’t really a history tour at all. It’s our Savannah Orientation Tour.
If you’re new to Savannah or just want to learn some locals’ tips, this is for you.
It’s a crash course on all things Savannah. We’ll give you just enough history to understand why there are so many Squares here, then we’ll dive into the city. You’ll learn of hole-in-the-wall restaurants and seafood shacks, locals-only dives, and maybe even more importantly, which tourist traps to avoid. We’ll stroll one the country’s most beautiful streets and discuss culinary treats unique to Savannah. You’ll also become acquainted with how to best get around the city. In our brief time together, you’ll learn of over 50 uniquely Savannah spots. The best part – You’ll have the opportunity to ask your expert guide any questions you have about this beautiful place.
Give us one hour, and we guarantee we’ll enhance your Savannah stay!
This tour will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 3 in Chippewa Square. As mentioned, the only cost is a donation (Recommended minimum of $15, please). It runs one hour and covers about 3/4 mile. Well even try to get ol’ Max the Mascot there. Walk-ups are welcome, but should we hit capacity, those who RSVP to savtruehistory@gmail.com will have priority.

Enter the mythological world of Ancient Greece for a hilarious epic following one of its most renowned heroes: the mighty Hercules. Named for the hero himself, Hercules follows the adventures of his 12 labors as he climbs from zero to hero, battling monsters, meeting gods, and falling in love. Created during what is widely considered Disney’s renaissance, Hercules truly goes the distance with its catchy tunes, colorful characters, and witty one-liners. Audiences from Mount Olympus to the Underworld agree that Hercules’ heroic deeds make this animated comedy a gift from the gods.
Tickets for the film are $5 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, and military, and $8 for the general public. Children ages 12 and under receive free admission.
