SWE Savannah Coastal Empire Girls Engineer It Day

As you know, Girls Engineer It Day is all about bringing the acronym STEM to life! Each year, we host our Girls Engineer It Day event, designed to teach that Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math aren’t as difficult as students might think.

As a reminder, the event is open to all students, Grades 4 -12, and includes:

👷🏽‍♀️An Expo where area companies, schools, and universities showcase their STEM fields

📝 Each student participates in 2-3 different age-appropriate activities

📐 Hands-on activities led by area STEM professionals and enthusiasts

👚 Commemorative t-shirt and goodie bag

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Parent forum to support the students w/ their STEM journey
