Betsy R. Kammerud, LCSW, LISW-CP, CCTP is a licensed clinical social worker with nearly two decades of experience specializing in grief, loss, trauma, and end-of-life care. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University and has spent the last 19 years working primarily in hospice and bereavement services. Betsy currently serves as Head of Counseling Services at Hospice Savannah, where she leads innovative grief support programming and counseling services for individuals and families. Her work focuses on compassionate clinical care, community education, and developing creative approaches to grief support/mental wellbeing across the life span. She is deeply committed to helping people navigate loss while building meaningful connection, resilience, and healing within their communities. For over the last 3 years she has been part of the preaching team at Wesley Oak Church Unities.
