Splash on the High Seas Free Family Day

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum is making waves this summer with Splash on the High Seas, a family-friendly day of water-themed fun and lifesaving education on Sunday, July 20, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Hosted in partnership with Safe Kids Savannah, this free community event will feature engaging water activities, STEAM and art projects, hands-on safety demos, and complimentary museum admission for all ages.

From water games and craft stations to interactive safety stations and summer protection giveaways, Splash on the High Seas is designed to keep families cool and active while promoting essential water safety awareness in a city surrounded by rivers, marshes, and coastline. Safe Kids Savannah experts will be on-site to provide tips, answer questions, and demonstrate best practices for swimming, boating, and playing near water.
