Seed Starting 101 Workshop

Brian Prewitt has a passion for living self sufficiently and sustainability. Ten years ago he began converting his yard, located in a subdivision in Pooler, into a food producing garden.

Incorporating the skills and tools he learned from his grandparents who raised hogs and kept a home garden, Brian began to grow and preserve a large amount of his own food, providing his family with food for months to come.

In addition to selling his produce and canned goods at markets, Brian also gives in-person and virtual garden tours and shares his experience in order to encourage others to grow and produce more of their own food.

Location: Savannah Hydroponics & Organics, 4107 8th Street, Suite C, Garden City, GA; right next to the Savannah State Farmers Market.
