SCAD Day

Explore a future of your own design at SCAD Day in Savannah. At this premier, open house event, you’ll get to experience life as a Bee in live classroom demonstrations led by renowned professors and in conversations with current students and alumni from the programs that excite you most. You can chat with staff onsite to discover our pre-college programs and to get answers on all things financial aid, scholarships, and early enrollment.

Throughout the day, journey through high-design residence halls with spectacular views of the Savannah River or easy walking distance to the city’s lush squares — a hallmark of one of the nation’s largest historic landmark districts. Grab a bite to eat, then visit SCAD Museum of Art for a captivating look at the latest exhibitions from emerging and acclaimed artists.

Be sure to stop into to shopSCAD or Ex Libris to take a little SCAD spirit back with you! At our retail location and bookstore, you’ll find apparel, tech, books, and university merch for the whole family. During your stay in Georgia’s sprawling First City, you can also visit alumni-owned shops, eateries, studios, galleries, and more throughout the city.
