Savannah Sunset Cruise

Celebrate 51 years of Wilderness Southeast (WiSE) on a Sunset Cruise (and rise of the Full Moon)! Since 1973, WiSE has served as the pioneer of Ecotourism and Environmental Education in the Southeast. Join Cathy Sakas of WiSE and Captain Mike Neal as they guide you on a relaxing ecotour of our beautiful salt marsh, while you enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages!

Funds raised will support Fish Gotta Swim©, which is our hands-on, environmental education program for at-risk youth in Savannah.
About your guides:
* Cathy is the President of the WiSE Board of Directors and has served with WiSE in various capacities since 1976. She is a professional interpretative naturalist and guide, certified aquanaut, author, documentary producer (e.g., Coastal Naturalist, Inc.), and retired educator and co-founder of Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary Foundation.
* Mike has worked with WiSE for many years, including use of his pontoon boat for Fish Gotta Swim©. Mike is a Marine Coordinator and Water Safety Specialist. He has managed marinas, has served as a PADI SCUBA Instructor, and owns and operates a boat and kayak tour company, Bull River Cruises. He works diligently with the Savannah Film Industry on major productions, indie’s, episodic TV, and reality TV.
The cruise is from 6-8 PM on October 17th, and departs from Sun Life Marinas on Wilmington Island.
