Join us at Pegasus Riding Academy for the most authentic Kentucky Derby Party in Savannah. Enjoy the afternoon underneath the arms of live oaks, draped in Spanish moss. Sip mint juleps in your authentic souvenir Derby glass or enjoy other libation and southern cuisine. Meet the marvelous equines of Pegasus and see them at work during the riding demonstration put on by the special riders of Pegasus. We will have a Dapper Dan Contest for the gentlemen and of course, the Derby Hat contest for women. Silent auction featuring everything from fine dining, travel, entertainment, art outdoor adventures and so much more. Recently, Peggi has faced significant medical challenges, making it difficult for her to manage the daily operations she once handled herself. On top of this, Pegasus Riding Academy has experienced substantial funding cuts due to changes in government support, making it harder to cover essential expenses like teaching classes, feeding the horses, and paying rent. Despite these challenges, Peggi and her volunteers remain committed to providing quality care and meaningful experiences for the children who participate in the program.
