Event Details

This President’s Day weekend, skip the mattress sales and step into living history! Use your day off to explore the breathtaking beauty and profound stories of Historic Bonaventure Cemetery with Bonaventure Cemetery Tours©.

While you won’t find a U.S. President buried here, Bonaventure is the final resting place of cultural icons, and the movers and shakers who helped shape Savannah, Georgia, and the nation. It is the perfect setting to reflect on legacy, leadership, and the colorful tapestry of American history on this patriotic long weekend.

Join our expert storytellers for a refreshing daytime walk beneath the famous moss-draped live oaks. We balance respect for this hallowed ground with engaging, professional narration that brings the past to vibrant life. You’ll encounter stunning Victorian statuary, hear surprising tales of famous residents, and enjoy the botanical splendor of this sprawling outdoor museum.
