Pizzaz Your Tote Bag

Join Lou Bangle in the One for the Road workshop studio for an afternoon of color, creativity, and the art of the stack. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and customize a 16″ beaded bag handle using a curated selection of 100 gemstones, freshwater pearls, and glass beads handpicked by Melissa.

Part creative escape, part wearable art, this workshop is the perfect excuse to gather your girlfriends, come solo, or add a little color to your Savannah weekend. You’ll learn how to mix textures, play with color, and create a bag handle that feels collected, personal, and perfectly punctuated. Whether you’re brand new to jewelry-making or simply looking for a creative afternoon, you’ll pick up the basics of beaded jewelry making—everything from sourcing materials and arranging beads to finishing your bag handle with crimp beads and clasps.

This workshop welcomes participants ages 18 and up, as well as younger guests attending with a parent or guardian.
