People Get Ready! The 1st Annual Peoples Festival Tribute to Bob Marley is heading to Savannah!

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, Victory North will hold the 1st Annual Peoples Festival Tribute to Bob Marley from 3 to 11 p.m. inside its premier historic theater and courtyard.

The 1st Annual Peoples Festival follows on the heels of the successful Bob Marley Birthday Bash held on Tybee Island in February 2024. This Tribute to Bob Marley all day Festival will offer live Reggae and World Beat bands, rockin’ Sound Systems, an International Food Court, Arts and Craft Vendors,Healing Garden, Live Art Space, Cigar Lounge, and a day full of Unity, One Love, and Positive Vibes!

The Peoples Festival Tribute to Bob Marley was founded in 1994 by Ibis and Genny Pitts. From 1976, they enjoyed close friendship with Bob and his mother Cedella Marley Booker. In 1993, Mother Booker gave charge of The Tribute to Bob in Wilmington, Delaware, to Ibis and Genny Pitts. Sincethen, The Peoples Festival Tribute to Bob Marley has drawn thousands to Wilmington, the city where they shared lives, love and memories, and the city to become Bob’s first American home! Now, to keep this fire burning, The Peoples Festival 30th Anniversary is proud and delighted to bring the Positive Vibes to Victory North and Savannah “The Hostess City” Georgia!
