Patriot Day 5k (25th year commemoration)

Halo Jumpers will kick us off as they jump rom an aircraft and land at Forsyth Park. We then begin with a 5k through the closed streets and squares of Savannah. This is a collaborative commemoration between Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield and Savannah, GA. This commemorative event honors those First Responder and civilians lost on September 11th 2001 and thereafter due to illness. It also recognizes the service and sacrifice of the servicemen and women who served during the Global War on Terrorism. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of September 11th. Stay with us after the run to enjoy the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division’s Rock Band for multi genre music.
