Opening Reception - "The Winter of our Discontent"

This show pairs paintings of the Log Lady from the David Lynch show “Twin Peaks,” with recordings of American women responding to J.D. Vance’s infamous “childless cat ladies” statements. The women’s actual voices will form a continuous sound file as part of the exhibition experience.
