Join Hospice Savannah and Live Oak Public Libraries as they present Hospice 101, part of a year-long monthly series on aging in place.
Hospice 101 presented by Ard James, Director of Business Development and Marketing with Hospice Savannah, will discuss what hospice is, the benefits of hospice care, why exploring hospice services sooner than later is more beneficial, and additional services available.
Each month, a new topic will be presented, including caregiving strategies, CAPABLE (Community Aging in Place—Advancing Better Living for Elders), palliative care, and more. Sessions will take place every Tuesday at 10:30 AM across four library locations:
• Bull Street Library
• Hinesville Library
• Garden City Library
• Islands Library
All events are free and open to the public.
