Local historian and preservationist W. W. Law worked tirelessly in the twentieth century to preserve Savannah’s African American heritage. One of his tools for this was collecting art documenting Savannah’s historic sites and neighborhoods. Building on the past exhibit “Law’s Murphys,” Luciana Spracher, Director of the City of Savannah’s Municipal Archives, presents works from Law’s personal art collection highlighting this practice and his preservation legacy.
