King-Tisdell Cottage Foundation New Board Member Garden Reception

Savannah, GA — June 8, 2025

The King-Tisdell Cottage Foundation is pleased to
announce a public reception and open house to welcome its newly appointed board
members and celebrate the Foundation’s enduring mission to preserve and promote African
American heritage in Savannah. The event will take place at the historic Beach Institute
African American Cultural Center, which this year commemorates 40 years of serving as a
regional hub for cultural preservation and education.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the Foundation’s incoming board members, tour
the historic Beach Institute and King-Tisdell Cottage, and learn more about current and
upcoming exhibitions and community initiatives that highlight African American art,
culture, and history.
