The Spiritual has a uniquely American heritage: originating in the deep South, sharing stories of resilience, hope and faith in enslaved communities. We pay homage to this music and the people who passed these songs through generations in our Great Camp Meeting Spiritual Recital, sponsored by Brenda Rucker. This year’s recitalist is famed Baritone, Kenneth Overton, accompanied by Pianist, Casey Robards.
