The Town of Thunderbolt is pleased to announce the ribbon cutting and grand reopening of W.E. Honey Park, located at 2450 Mechanics Avenue, following a comprehensive renovation that brings new life to this beloved riverside community space. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 4:30 pm.
The revitalized Honey Park features a completely redesigned playground area and a refreshed picnic space, offering residents and visitors an enhanced environment for recreation, relaxation, and community gatherings.
Mayor Dana Williams and the Thunderbolt Town Council will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony, joined by local dignitaries and community leaders.
“Honey Park has always been a special place for Thunderbolt families,” said Mayor Dana Williams. “This renovation ensures that future generations will continue to enjoy this beautiful riverside space, and we are excited to officially reopen it for the community.”
The ribbon cutting will include remarks from town officials and partners who supported the project. Media and attendees will also have the opportunity to capture photos during and after the ceremony.
