The Georgia Historical Society will hold a dedication for a new historical marker for Rev. Dr. Ralph Mark Gilbert (1899-1956). The marker is being erected in partnership with the Savannah Branch of the NAACP and the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum. The dedication will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum, 460 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., in Savannah, Georgia. The event is open to the public and the media. Parking can be found onsite, and there is additional street parking in the area.
