Heretic

cat-and-mouse game after two Mormon missionaries (Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East) ring his doorbell. Crackling with rich dialogue and cerebral debate, the latest from writer-directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (‘A Quiet Place’) follows the young believers as they match wits with their host’s rarefied intellect. Forced to choose between belief and disbelief, they find themselves plunged into the darkest labyrinths of Reed’s mind.
