Discover the art of creating flaky, buttery pastries in this fun and approachable two-day class, perfect for bakers of all skill levels! You’ll explore the secrets behind puff pastry, croissants, and Danish pastry, mastering the process of laminating dough with butter to achieve those irresistible layers. Plus, you’ll learn how to make rich, pillowy brioche and transform all these doughs into a variety of delicious sweet and savory treats. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just getting started, this hands-on experience will leave you feeling confident and inspired to recreate these pastries at home!
Day 1 (6 hours): Understanding Ingredients, Techniques of Lamination, Preparation of Puff pastry, Croissant dough, Danish pastry dough, and Brioche dough
Day 2 (6-7 hours): Rolling and finishing dough to prepare: Fruit Jalousie Pastry, Palmiers, Croissants, Bear Claws, Fruit Twist Danish, Brioche Pastries
Registration and attendance on both days is required. A light lunch each day is included.
