Event Details

Description: They’re invisible to the naked eye, but zooplankton play a pivotal role in shaping marine ecosystems and coastal economies. What determines where these tiny organisms live? How do scientists study them? And what do they actually look like? Join us for a live Q&A with Dr. Adam Greer, an associate professor in UGA’s Department of Marine Sciences and a faculty member at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, as he takes us into the world of the ocean’s smallest animals.
