Colored Clay

Welcome to our hands-on workshop where creativity and colored clay combine! We’ll kick things off by exploring the art of making colored clay, starting with selecting the perfect clays and stains to suit your project. From there, you’ll learn how to mix clays and slip to achieve the ideal consistency and color. Our session will cover various techniques to ensure your clay and slip are vibrant and uniquely tailored to your vision.

Following this, we’ll dive into crafting a colored clay bullseye cane using two distinct colors. You’ll get the chance to create your own bullseye cane with the colors we provide.

Finally, we’ll guide you through the process of making a trinket bowl using your colored clay canes. This segment will include slicing the cane, rolling the pieces together, and shaping the bowl with a slump mold. You’ll have the opportunity to craft your own trinket bowl, incorporating the canes you’ve made along with two additional canes provided by us.
