Live Oak Public Libraries will reopen the historic Carnegie Library on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM, following renovation and restoration. Through museum-quality exhibits, oral history recordings and interactive displays, the Center will honor the library’s role as a beacon of knowledge and community empowerment. Including the Carnegie Library Heritage Center, the Live Oak Public Library system consists of sixteen branches in three counties.
