Learn to preserve your own food using the techniques of pressure canning, water bath canning, and fermentation with guest speaker Wendy Gambino of Sweet Treats Cannery!
Chef Wendy Gambino is the owner of Sweet Treats Cannery, which she established in 2021. With over 25 years of experience in the culinary industry, she is a certified chef who has cultivated a well-rounded palate by working under many esteemed chefs.
Her journey in the culinary arts began at a young age when she was introduced to the art of canning, which has since become a lifelong passion.
Wendy’s commitment to food safety and quality is further cemented by her certifications from The University of Georgia Food Science and Technology and the National Food Safety Professionals.
At Sweet Treats Cannery, she combines her classical culinary training with her passion for preservation to create high-quality jams, jellies, and other canned goods.
