Business Foundations: From Idea to Income

Business Foundations – From Idea to Income is designed for early-stage entrepreneurs who have a business idea or business plan but need clarity on how to implement it. This workshop focuses on core business fundamentals and introduces financial literacy concepts through the lens of execution—helping participants understand how their business plan translates into day-to-day operations and financial decisions. Entrepreneurs will learn how key sections of a business plan connect to business setup, operations, and financial management, enabling them to move from planning to purposeful action.

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

• Understand the core components of a business plan and how they translate into execution
• Learn how business structure, operations, and compliance support the business plan
• Gain clarity on how financial assumptions in a business plan impact cash flow and decision-making
• Understand how to implement revenue, expense, and operational plans in practice
• Identify common gaps between planning and execution—and how to close them
• Be prepared to strengthen their business plan for operational and financial readiness
