After Dark House Party

This summer, enter a world of mystery, music, and maritime history at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum’s After Dark House Party.

As night begins to fall, the Scarbrough House transforms into a dusky realm where ship models glimmer half-lit and maritime artifacts are veiled in darkness. Stroll through shadowy galleries surrounded by vessels lost to time and settle into the kind of conversations that only happen after dark. Sip craft cocktails, wine, and local beer from the cash bar while local favorite DJ Jimmy Butcher keeps the night alive with a curated mix of beats, setting a vibe you won’t find anywhere else.

In June and July, celebrated artists Joshua Alexander and Kristopher Maedke-Russell add to the allure as they transform spaces with bold visual projections and immersive light experiences.
