Abby Bentley’s Monkey in the Coconut is an award-winning musical comedy inspired by very real and very strange events. Abby’s second-grade teacher brings a coconut to school and announces that a scientist at the local nuclear bomb plant has implanted it with a monkey embryo.
In this show, Abby wrestles with the big questions: Can I trust authority? Is evolution real? And… will this coconut hatch?
