2025 Tybee Turtle Trot 5K

Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to kick off the 2025 sea turtle nesting season with the annual Tybee Turtle Trot 5K on April 26.
Registration supports the Tybee Sea Turtle Project and the resident sea turtles at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center (TIMSC). This year we are excited to raise funds for a beach utility vehicle that will advance our response for nesting and injured sea turtles this season and beyond.

When: April 26th 9:00 AM
Early Bird Registration (January 20 – February 28): $35/person
Regular Registration (March 1 – April 24): $45/person
Where: North Beach at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center, 37 Meddin Dr. Tybee Island, GA 31328. Race begins on the beach by the boardwalk next to the science center.
Packet Pick Up: In the TIMSC Undercroft by the black gate on the left side of the building.

Trot Day April 26:
9:00 AM Beach Run
The start and finish line is on the beach by the boardwalk next to the science center. After the race, head to the science center for water, snacks, medals, run times, and free admission to the science center.
