The celebration, which took place from 2 to 6 p.m., drew crowds from across the region, all eager to enjoy the best of Thunderbolt’s seafood while supporting a local cause.

Attendees generously contributed items from the nonprofit’s wishlist and made monetary donations, helping to further the organization’s mission of providing essential support to mothers and their children in need.

Desposito’s Seafood, known for its authentic coastal flavors and fresh local catches, delighted guests with a memorable oyster roast, alongside a variety of seafood dishes that showcased the rich culinary heritage of the Georgia coast. The event featured live performances by Cole Goodwin and Outlaw Gypsy, setting a festive atmosphere for the day. Local author Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser also drew attention with a book signing.

In addition to the food and entertainment, attendees had the opportunity to hear from local dignitaries during special remarks at 4 p.m., which highlighted Desposito’s deep ties to the community and its commitment to giving back.
