Sips at the Station Celebrates $40,000 Raised for Local Non-Profits

Partners of Savannah’s popular networking series, Sips at the Station, announce more than $45,000 has been raised during two years of hosting this ongoing networking fundraiser series. Taking place on the third Tuesday of each month at award-winning eatery, Ardsley Station, Sips at the Station has brought targeted awareness to 21 local non-profits over the past 2 years and offered attendees nearly 2,000 minutes of professional networking.

Hosted by Simply Savannah Marketing, Savannah Master Calendar and Ardsley Station, attendees have enjoyed a mix of live musical entertainment from a variety of local artists, and embraced a wide range of forecasts; from a stifling 103°F at the anniversary celebration to shivering through a low of 42°F. With more than 300 guests in attendance for the anniversary, proceeds from the August fundraising challenge were awarded to Royce Learning Center; recipient from the March 2023 event, an organization who meets the needs of children and adults with learning differences and literacy needs through its five unique programs.

Each month, guests are asked to contribute a minimum $10 donation to the selected nonprofit organization, and additional donations can also be made through the purchase of raffle tickets for the chance to win unique prizes; 100% of both sales go to the month’s nonprofit beneficiary. Sips at the Station offers an opportunity to meet like-minded business professionals, sample hors d’oeuvres prepared by the restaurant’s award-winning culinary team, and sip specialty cocktails. Ongoing partnerships with Creature Comforts Brewing, Tito’s Vodka, and Woodinville Whiskey have created the opportunity for not only new partnerships with fun branded giveaways, but also a branded signature cocktail and additional contributions for each month’s beneficiary.
