Come together to honor Thunderbolt's rich shrimping and fishing legacy with a fleet blessing, welcoming all boats, accompanied by the melodious rhythms of live music resonating across the enchanting Wilmington Riverfront. Delight your taste buds with a diverse array of culinary delights from food trucks and local Thunderbolt eateries, explore over 100 vibrant vendor stalls, and immerse yourself in free activities that embody the true essence of community spirit.

The festivities commence with a spirited parade down River Drive, followed by a day filled with food trucks, vendors, stage performances, live music, and various entertainment offerings. Guests can also savor the moment with a visit to the beer garden and witness the blessing bestowed by Bishop Parkes of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Savannah.

Building on the success of the past years, the Thunderbolt Blessing of the Fleet anticipates an even greater turnout after attracting over 5,000 attendees last year. With more than 100 high-quality vendors showcasing a diverse range of food, art, crafts, clothing, and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
