The Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Council will host its annual Biscuits and Bills Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, November 20, at 8:30 a.m. at the Savannah Convention Center. Formerly known as Egg & Issues, attendees will be briefed by Chatham County legislative delegation members, and the Chamber will present its 2026 State Legislative Agenda. This event offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest legislative issues and their impact on our community. Join us for the ninth annual Oyster Roast for a Reason, a fundraising event hosted by Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant. The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 1-4 p.m. on the bluff next to the UGA Aquarium on Skidaway Island, Georgia. Guests will enjoy a catered buffet, beverages, live music by City Hotel, and have the opportunity to eat local oysters – roasted and on the half shell!

Oyster Roast for a Reason is an event tailored for adults. All attendees, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Don’t forget your ID if you are 21+. We do encourage those with children to explore our public aquarium, which has several exhibits for younger audiences, on a separate occasion. Learn more here.

Join United Way of the Coastal Empire on Thanksgiving morning at Daffin Park for its 17th Annual Turkey Trot! Come as you are or in a Thanksgiving themed costume and hit the 4-mile course.
The race route starts at Daffin Park, loops through the picturesque Ardsley Park neighborhood, and ends back at Daffin Park. Participants are invited to a post-race awards ceremony, which includes food and beverages. No rollerblades or bicycles please. Pets are permitted only with participants and on a leash. Strollers are welcome! We are rain or shine!

The denizens of Mistletoe Falls have been through a lot! At first, it seemed to be the kind of place that only existed in one of those cheesy TV Christmas movies; a place where everyone loves the holidays, the girl always gets the guy, and there’s always a happy ending. It was nice, but not exactly “real.” Some magical help from Santa helped them keep the good stuff and get rid of the bad stuff and it seemed like they were all ready to live happily ever after. But the lure of cheesy TV Christmas movies is strong and before they know it, things started to go back to old ways that they thought they had left behind, driven there, in part, by a dastardly version of Mrs. Claus!

But they worked it all out and everyone thought they were going to live happily ever after. Little did they know that murder was on it’s way to Mistletoe Falls and it is time for Santa to meet his maker!

So, who killed Santa Claus? That’s up to you! The audience gets to vote at intermission and then we’ll change the ending based on what you decide!

Screenwriter Rick Garman has written nearly two dozen holiday films for networks like Hallmark Channel and Great American Family, and is once again bringing that Christmas magic to the Savannah Cabaret stage!

Filled with live cabaret performances of holiday classics like “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Let It Snow!,” “White Christmas,” “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and many more, this is sure to be a holiday classic that hopefully won’t get the guy who writes movies like this fired.
