Thirty of the top outdoor painters from across the state gather in Savannah to capture snippets of daily life and scenes on canvas.

Schedule Highlights
• Painting Begins: Tuesday, October 13 at 12:01 a.m. – Artists begin the official competition.
• Georgia Color Gallery: Open daily from October 13-18 – New paintings arrive each day. Open to the public. Daytime and Evening Hours – 2123 E. Victory Drive, Savannah 31404
• Artist Demonstrations & Talks: Scheduled throughout the event, mostly at the Exhibition Gallery, varied topics. Meet and interact with the artists. FREE Full Schedule georgiacolor.org
• Meet the Artists Reception: Wednesday, October 14 (ticketed) – View first works created on location and meet the artists. Many will continue painting during the reception.
• The Magic of Skidway: Thursday, October 15 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – Artists paint on Skidaway and The Landings; paintings exhibited and available for purchase 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Village Green 10% of sales benefit the Landings Art Association.
• Ossabaw Island Foundation: Thursday, October 15 6:00-8:30 p.m, – For Those Who Love Ossabaw – enjoy an evening of art, conversation; beverages and lite snacks while they last. 10% of painting sales during the evening will benefit the Ossabaw Island Foundation
• Sunset/Nocturne PaintQuick: Friday, October 16 – Fast-paced, two-hour painting challenge in Ellis Square, downtown Savannah.
• Awards Celebration: Saturday, October 17 (ticketed) – An exclusive opportunity to view and purchase award-winning work before it is released to the public. Includes presentation of juried awards.
• Final Day & Farewell Toast: Sunday, October 18 – Gallery open 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. Join us at 3:45 PM for a celebratory toast and artist send-off.
