Infinite Polyphony - Tallis Spem in alium

January 24, 2027- Witness one of the most ambitious feats in choral history: Thomas Tallis’s 40-part motet, Spem in Alium. This monumental “wall of sound” event features a massive collaboration between the Cathedral Basilica of Saint John the Baptist Choir, Christ the King Cathedral Choir of Atlanta, the Savannah Philharmonic Chorus, and singers from across Savannah. Hear these forty independent voice parts (almost 100 singers!) surround the audience in a sonic spectacle never before witnessed in Savannah.
