The race route starts at Daffin Park, loops through the picturesque Ardsley Park neighborhood, and ends back at Daffin Park. Participants are invited to a post-race awards ceremony, which includes food and beverages. No rollerblades or bicycles please. Pets are permitted only with participants and on a leash. Strollers are welcome! We are rain or shine!

The denizens of Mistletoe Falls have been through a lot! At first, it seemed to be the kind of place that only existed in one of those cheesy TV Christmas movies; a place where everyone loves the holidays, the girl always gets the guy, and there’s always a happy ending. It was nice, but not exactly “real.” Some magical help from Santa helped them keep the good stuff and get rid of the bad stuff and it seemed like they were all ready to live happily ever after. But the lure of cheesy TV Christmas movies is strong and before they know it, things started to go back to old ways that they thought they had left behind, driven there, in part, by a dastardly version of Mrs. Claus!
But they worked it all out and everyone thought they were going to live happily ever after. Little did they know that murder was on it’s way to Mistletoe Falls and it is time for Santa to meet his maker!
So, who killed Santa Claus? That’s up to you! The audience gets to vote at intermission and then we’ll change the ending based on what you decide!

Throughout her storied career, actress Glenn Close has collaborated closely with costume designers to help bring the characters she embodies to life. Inspired by the creativity and craftsmanship she saw
Throughout her storied career, actress Glenn Close has collaborated closely with costume designers to help bring the characters she embodies to life. Inspired by the creativity and craftsmanship she saw in her film and theater productions, she began collecting and preserving costumes and accessories from her projects after her first movie, The World According to Garp (1982). In 2017, she donated her over 800-piece collection to the Elizabeth Sage Historic Costume Collection in the School of Art, Architecture Design at Indiana University.
First presented at the Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University in 2020, The Art of the Character: Highlights from the Glenn Close Costume Collection will offer visitors a unique opportunity to thoroughly explore the careful consideration and exacting details that teams of designers, drapers, and other craftspeople created in over 50 ensembles and numerous examples of jewelry, shoes, and other accessories. It will feature the work of award-winning costume designers, including Anthony Powell (1935–2021), Ann Roth (b. 1949), James Acheson (b. 1946), and Alexandra Byrne (b. 1962), and costumers like Barbara Matera Ltd (active 1968–2001), from 14 of Close’s best-loved movies.
This exhibition is organized by Telfair Museums in partnership with the Elizabeth Sage Historic Costume Collection at the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, and Design of Indiana University.

Oliver Maner, one of Savannah’s most distinguished law firms, announces its annual donation drive in recognition of National Homelessness Awareness Month this November. The firm will be collecting essential items to benefit Parker’s House at Union Mission, the area’s only facility dedicated to providing emergency housing and supportive services for unaccompanied women experiencing homelessness.
The community is invited to donate new, unopened essentials from Monday, Nov. 3, through Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at Oliver Maner, 218 W. State St., Savannah, GA 31401. For drop-off, the office is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The online Amazon Registry with most-needed items is also available, found here.

Parker’s House provides emergency housing and supportive services for up to 32 women at a time through an intensive 90-day program focused on personal, economic, and housing stability. Union Mission has served more than 700 women since opening Parker’s House in 2022. Oliver Maner invites the Savannah legal community and the public to participate throughout November.

The Davenport House Museum, an award-winning house museum in Savannah, Ga. that is owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation, is pleased to offer festive, holiday-themed Yuletide Tours from Tues., Nov. 18 through Sat., Jan. 3, 2026, exploring 19th-century holiday traditions at one of Georgia’s most historic sites. Guided Yuletide Tours at the Davenport House are available Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Self-guided Yuletide Tours are available on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Attendees are warmly invited to enjoy this seasonal opportunity to step into the ornate world of the Davenports during the holidays, complete with historically accurate décor and an illuminating examination of Savannah’s holiday traditions in the 1800s. All guided tours during this period will include a special holiday interpretation of the Davenport House.
Tickets for the Davenport House Museum’s Yuletide Tours are $15 for adults, $12 for students ages 18-21, $10 for children ages 6-17 and free for children under 6. Tickets are currently available online at davenporthousemuseum.org.

Join United Way of the Coastal Empire on Thanksgiving morning at Daffin Park for its 17th Annual Turkey Trot! Come as you are or in a Thanksgiving themed costume and hit the 4-mile course.
The race route starts at Daffin Park, loops through the picturesque Ardsley Park neighborhood, and ends back at Daffin Park. Participants are invited to a post-race awards ceremony, which includes food and beverages. No rollerblades or bicycles please. Pets are permitted only with participants and on a leash. Strollers are welcome! We are rain or shine!
