Savannah’s Fashion Trailblazer, DANIETTÉ, Designing for Local Influencers

by | Sep 6, 2021

Danietté is a fashion trailblazer known for her custom apparel designs that have been seen on some of Savannah’s most well-known and respected individuals. Offering services as both a stylist and creative director, the House of DANIETTÉ, is located near Historic Downtown Savannah and though it functions primarily as a design house, is a terrific event venue for weddings, fashion shows, networking events and more.

Finding herself happiest with a sharp #2 pencil and blank sheet of paper in hand, Danietté’s fashion journey began in 2003 after leaving the world of school uniforms behind. The young designer realized she could make a career out of this newfound passion and began sketching any design ideas she wasn’t able to find in local stores.

Danietté completed the undergraduate program for Fashion Design at SCAD Savannah in 2015. She was then selected from her senior class to showcase in the annual SCAD fashion show, and recognized by André Leon Talley, former Editor & Chief at Vogue, for her thesis apparel collection. As multiple job opportunities fell through, Danietté decided to turn her dreams into reality and filed a business license to officially begin offering custom design services to a base of existing clients.

In 2019, DANIETTÉ Custom Couture had the honor of showcasing two separate seasons at New York Fashion Week, in multiple productions. The following year during the peak of the pandemic, the brand launched a designer line of PPE and was featured on news stations that helped expand its notoriety nationwide.

After celebrating 5 successful years in business, Danietté was able to leave her day job and focus on running her own business full time. Working to elevate individuals through creative direction, personal styling, and custom apparel design, the brand helps to empower customers with the confidence to stand out in their chosen profession. Danietté’s clientele primarily consists of aspiring entrepreneurs, business professionals, politicians, and more.
