Islands Cottage Art-Studio and Gallery and The Book Lady Bookstore are hosting the book launch party for local writer Helen P. Bradley’s debut novel, Breach of Trust. In the book, the director of Savannah’s crime victim assistance program is thrown into a tailspin when her young male employee accuses their boss, the district attorney, of sexual harassment. Helen’s book was inspired by her 27 years as director of Chatham County’s nationally-recognized victim assistance program. It’s been called a “compelling story of corruption vs. courage, community and friendship.”
Books will be available for sale and signing at The Book Lady Bookstore’s table. Light refreshments and wine will be served.

After leaving her victim advocacy career, Helen launched her own business, Savannah Simple Weddings, where she officiates weddings. She’s currently writing her next novel based on her real-life adventures as a wedding officiant and custodial grandmother.
