Description: Experience a live stage production that will transport you to the golden era of live radio in THE 1940s HOLIDAY RADIO SHOW.

Journey back to a time when hundreds of charismatic personalities and programs lit up the
airwaves. This production is a celebration of radio’s glamorous days, the bittersweet years of the Great Depression, and the heart-pounding moments of World War II. We invite you to relive the magic of a 1940’s Holiday Radio Variety Show, the iconic “Verdis Variety Cavalcade,” as it may have been performed during the dramatic “War Years.”

This immersive stage experience includes the music, comedy, and vintage commercials of the era, bringing the past to life. For those who lived through these historic years, it’s a refreshing journey down “Radio Memory Lane,” a nostalgic visit to a bygone era. For those too young to recall the “Golden Age of Radio,” it’s an opportunity to discover the timeless appeal and genuine entertainment value of this extraordinary period. This production is created and directed by Sebastian Verdis, Retired Associate Professor of Dramatic Arts.
